Past Crankie Fests

A very magical, wonderful audience at the Northwest Puppet Center's 3rd Crankie Fest on Oct. 1, 2016.

I've been collecting crankie fest posters since 2013. It's exciting to see the number of festivals increasing ever year. ❤

2019 - The 2nd Annual Winnipeg Crankie Festival happened in November, 2019.  Organized by Leonard Podalak, banjo player with the band the Duhks. He has also given countless crankie workshops to kids in the Winnipeg area. Check out the website!

2017 - The first Ithaca (NY) Crankie Cabaret. It was a sold out success! The event was coordinated by crankster Lily Gershon.
2017 - The first Bellingham Crankie Fest in Bellingham, WA. It was at the Alternative Library.

2016, In the Pittsburgh, PA area, Ellen Gozion coordinated this festival.  On the poster is one of her crankies  mad of paper mosaic. www.ellengozion.com

December 2016. This crankie fest was at the the award-winning Sandglass Theater in Putney, VT. It was coordinated by Brendan Taafe and Eric Bass and Ines Zeller Bass of the Sandglass Theater. Poster by long-time crankster Sam Bartlett.
